Works as advertised, with good sound. Or, should I say, I don't notice a drop in music quality with it. It has a nice, firm snap when you plug it into your MP3 player/aux port in your car. It's not that long, but that's why I like it. Less cable to break, and my aux port is in my center console, which, is where I keep my MP3 player. I didn't want a long cable, and I've seen too many of those retractor kind break, then you're left with like a 5' cord.
